The National Youth Council for Health in Morocco is a non-governmental, nonprofit organization founded in July 2024 in Casablanca, Morocco. It was established as a personal initiative and project — the first of its kind in Morocco — by Anas AIT BAMOUH, a medical anthropologist and Sociologist and Social Entrepreneur.

His initiative reflects his belief that meaningful change and development arise from a participatory approach in implementing projects and addressing diverse aspirations and goals.

His slogan for launching this project is: "The great future in the health field begins here—let's create it together and Let's spread it with great energy and passion"

The council's first, second, third and ongoing fourth calls for applications and meetings are aimed at young leaders—master’s and doctoral graduates— from various cities and regions in Morocco with experience in medical and health fields—from a range of disciplines and departments. These meetings provide a platform to discuss, execute, and achieve the agenda and goals outlined below.

    Council's Role, Agenda and Goals

The council aims to highlight the importance and role of Moroccan youth in contributing to and engaging in efforts to promote and enhance health development in Morocco through collaborative and individual efforts by its members across three levels:

At the scientific and cultural level:

Writing and publishing narrative and scientific articles and books, while encouraging future generations of youth to contribute writings in their field of study and within the council's themes, interests and departments.

Participating in Podcasts on various interests, themes, phenomena and projects in different health fields.

Engaging in live and recorded discussions, and taking part in various events, activities, and initiatives within the same field.

At the academic and professional level:

Contributing to the increase in the number, quality, and status of programs, training sessions, and workshops in various health fields, and enhancing their appeal and importance.

Organizing and conducting workshops, lectures, and roundtable discussions in person with and among young professionals.

Supporting and Welcoming young professionals to present their proposals, innovations, and creations in various health fields.

Conducting and facilitating various visits, activities, and fieldwork with different organizations, institutions, and centers involved in various health fields.

    At the economic level:

Participating in all partnerships and agreements with an economic dimension at both national and international levels, encompassing cultural, scientific, academic, professional, and economic aspects, with the aim of enhancing and ensuring the success of all the points mentioned in the first and second goals of the council.

Contributing to the achievement of the third goal within this section, which focuses on the economic aspect by supporting various institutions and companies—through joint cooperation—within Morocco in creating job opportunities, internships, training programs, and projects within the same domain.

At the same time, benefiting from these human resources and young talents—whom we aim to engage with and work on. See the apply section and download the document related to the call for applications for youth project holder in different fields of health.
